We all knew it would happen, It was just a matter of when. Former UGA offensive coordinator Todd Monken is leaving the program to take the offensive coordinator position with the Baltimore Ravens. We have suspected this for a while, but Kirby Smart has probably known for quite some time. That's why on the same day that it is being announced that Monken would be leaving the program, his replacement was also named: Mike BoBo. Bobo is not new to the position, nor is he new to UGA.

Bobo was UGA's quarterback from 1993-1997, and has served as offensive coordinator for UGA, South Carolina, and Auburn. Bobo was also the Head Coach at Colorado State for four years. He has plenty of experience, and as Dawgnation's Brando Adams tells Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael: "asking an offensive coordinator to run someone else's offense doesn't really work". As successful as Todd Monken's offense was during UGA's back to back title run, Bobo needs to install his own offense if UGA wants to make a run at three.
