Biggest question surrounding Georgia winning the national title is offensive explosiveness
The Georgia Bulldogs will open their 2026 season on Saturday when they host the Tennessee State Tigers and look to begin what they hope to be a run to a national championship, however there are some who do not believe the Bulldogs will be able to get the job done.
“I don’t feel like they’re being overlooked,” Mike Griffith of Dawg Nation and the Atlanta Journal Constitution, said as he joined 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes and Mike Bell and explained why he believes concerns of the Bulldogs being able to “win it all” are legit.
“I actually called two of the AP [Associate Press] voters that had Georgia number eight, which was the lowest they were ranked, and I got their logic for it and it’s kind of hard to argue it. They’re not convinced that Georgia’s got the perimeter weapons to be explosive on offense and I mean, that’s what the head coach has been telling us,” Griffith said.Georgia must be more explosive on offensive for a championship run
