Brandon Adams, who covers the Bulldogs for DawgNation.com, joined the Midday Show to give his theory on why Cook opted out of the Senior Bowl.

"If I had to guess, to me this feels like...the kind of typical posturing that goes on here where maybe his camp is advising him for, whatever reason, he doesn't need it or it doesn't necessarily help him to do that," Brandon Adams told Andy and Randy.

"In the case of Cook, if I had to guess, this is one of those things where maybe he decides that his draft status is just not helped by being there so why put anything at risk if that's the case."

Cook played in all 15 games for the Bulldogs, rushing for a career-best 728 yards and seven touchdowns. He also caught 27 passes for 284 yards and four scores.

He will have another opportunities, if he chooses, to showcase his talents to NFL scouts at the Combine or when Georgia holds their Pro Day (date/time TBD).

Bulldogs linebacker Quay Walker also opted out of the Senior Bowl last minute--likely injury-related reasons.
