Georgia's run defense is ranked fourth-best in the country, but as strong as that aspect of the defense is, the pass defense is equally weak. Defending the pass, UGA is ranked just 94th in the country.

In Georgia's two losses they allowed 417 yards and four TDs to Mac Jones of Alabama and 474 pass yards and four TDs to Florida's Kyle Trask.
On offense, after Jamie Newman decided to opt out, you knew that Georgia wasn't going to be able to move the ball a ton through the air. So the run game was the big hope.
Georgia ran for just 145 yards in the loss to Alabama and 165 yards against Florida, 75 of which came on the first play of the game.
Kirby Smart is stuck playing a style of game-control football that simply won't win anymore. Without an explosive offense you cannot compete at the highest level in today's era of college football.
