or is College Football still Alabama and everybody else?

Nick Kayal is on record that he is picking the University of Georgia Bulldogs to win the 2021 CFP National Championship.

The last time the Bulldogs claimed a national championship was under Vince Dooley in 1980. Since then, the Dawgs have seemed to be on the doorstep of a title several times. They routinely bring in top-ranked recruiting classes. NFL rosters are loaded up and down with ex-UGA players. But still no banners have been raised in Athens for over 40 years.

Is 2021 finally the year?

The Bulldogs enter the season ranked in the top five yet again.
After an early-season showdown with the Clemson Tigers, the Bulldogs schedule is considered to be very manageable the rest of the way.

They will be led on the field by a NFL caliber signal caller in JT Daniels.  The defense should be loaded with ALL-SEC selections.

So with all those factors considered, the road to the SEC Championship game in Atlanta should be a direct path for the Dawgs.

And most experts say that the Crimson Tide will once again be waiting for them at Mercedes Benz Stadium on December 4.

So is 2021 the year that UGA finally beats the Tide in a game that matters?

Can the DAWGS win it all in 2021?

Saturday’s Down South college football writer Sydney Hunte joined the Nick Kayal Show on Saturday to discuss the outlook for the Dawgs this season.

Sydney told Nick that “ Kirby Smart really needs to beat Clemson to establish Georgia as a playoff contender.”

Sydney went on to state that a loss to Clemson wouldn’t be the end of the world, but the Bulldogs don’t want to start that way.

We all know that the UGA season will begin in Charlotte on Sept 4 vs Clemson.

But will it end on Jan 10, 2022 in Indianapolis?
