The Georgia Bulldogs held their annual G-Day this past Saturday and all of Georgia's quarterbacks were on full display.
Starting quarterback J.T. Daniels, red-shirt freshman Carson Beck and five-star freshman Brock Vandagriff all saw playing time in Georgia's intrasquad scrimmage.
Brandon Adams, who covers the Bulldogs for Dawg Nation Daily, joined the Midday Show and said this is the first time in Kirby Smart's tenure, that he's had a comfortable quarterback room.
"This is more settled than I've seen Georgia be at quarterback, really, in quite sometime. Not just with what Daniels looks like, in terms of a stat line that validates what you think of him already, but the fact that when Brock Vandergriff got a moment or two, the freshman was very impressive. Carson Beck, who Georgia fans were very curious about...he had a chance to throw the ball a bunch...you didn't see as much as Stetson Bennett but he's started games in the SEC before.
"This is, you know, as good as Georgia has looked with a starter probably under Kirby Smart to start a season, I would say, and the depth behind him is really something that Georgia fans haven't had much of a chance to get accustomed to because that's not normally what the situation has been. But there's a lot of quarterback depth in the room...this probably looks to be as comfortable a fit for starting quarterback...as Kirby Smart's probably had in his previous five years in this job."
