On Friday Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael were joined by Georgia Bulldogs Insider Radi Nabulsi who spoke about the impressive performance from UGA true freshman 5-star defensive lineman Jalen Carter in practice so far.
“Jalen Carter, a true freshman, who we had rated in the Top 50 and we may have severely, severely under ranked that young man. Talking to some people who are not just college scouts but NFL scouts they are like that kid is an All-SEC, maybe All-American performer,” said Nabulsi when asked about what we should know about Carter.
“Trey Hill has the biggest thighs I have ever seen on a football player. Trey Hill is a tank, there is no question about it that guy is an earth mover, he is a plow ahead guy and you know it’s not his first rodeo. And you saw a video of Jalen Carter stand him up and push him backwards. These guys are going head-to-head and a true freshman out there going up against one of the cagiest offensive centers in the conference was able to take those giant thighs and push him backwards and I would never have predicted it,” added Nabulsi in regards to the video that surfaced from UGA’s practice earlier today with Hill and Carter going head-to-head.
Carter is a 6’3, 305 pound defensive line recruit out of Apopka High School in Apopka, Florida.
