Ohio State arrives in Atlanta in preparation for Peach Bowl

UGA and Ohio State set to play in Peach Bowl on Dec 31 at MBS

The #1 Georgia Bulldogs (13-0) and the #4 Ohio State Buckeyes (11-1) will square off in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl as part of the College Football Playoffs this Saturday evening at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

A typical week of preparation for a game that is scheduled on a weekend would usually consist of several practices at your teams on campus facility followed by a flight to the host city the day before the big game.

But there is nothing typical about the College Football Playoffs. Even less typical is a matchup between the Bulldogs and Buckeyes, two of the biggest brands in college football.

So since this game is not typical, why would the Ohio State team follow a typical schedule?

Sam & Greg talked about the fact that the Buckeyes chose to come into the city several days early in order to get prepared for the Peach Bowl.

“The team is here” explained Sam when pointing out to the audience that the Buckeyes have already arrived in town almost a week early for the game.

“They don’t want Georgia to have any advantages” said Greg when explaining that the Buckeyes will enjoy the slightly warmer weather the state of Georgia can offer over the next several days compared to the elements in their home state of Ohio.

Will the early travel give the Buckeyes a better change to upset the Bulldogs in the Peach Bowl?

Sam & Greg have their doubts, but the guys did suggest a few things the Buckeyes could do with the extra days they will have to enjoy the southern hospitality of Atlanta.

“They can all go to Waffle House, and the King Center” said Sam & Greg.

Enjoy your week Buckeyes, because your New Year may not be so happy!
