While Georgia did rightfully move up in the latest College Football Playoff rankings, some Georgia fans still believe the Dawgs should be higher in the rankings, and earlier today Co-Owner and Publisher of Dawgs HQ Rusty Mansell explains why the Bulldogs should be viewed differently by the College Football Playoff Committee and ranked higher.

“Georgia has to be looked at differently to this point because of who they have played, nobody else has that resume.” Mansell said

Rusty finished his point by saying “Georgia to me is the team you go if I’m in the committee and I’m sitting there and I go guys  put Georgia up there, there’s nobody that’s played that resume yet.”

The Dawgs have arguably played the second toughest schedule in all of College Football behind Florida, and in the past that has seemed to hold weight with the College Football Committee, so why wouldn’t it now?

There is a lot to still be determined, and played out before the final College Football Playoff rankings are released, but you have to think if Georgia wins their final two games of the season, there’s a legitimate argument they should be hosting a first round College Football Playoff game.
