The debate is now over on who the Georgia Bulldogs starting quarterback is moving forward: Stetson Bennett.
The Dawgs cruised to a 41-17 win over Tennessee behind an impressive performance by Bennett in a hostile environment in Knoxville. He threw for 213 yards, rushed for 40 yards and two touchdowns; one on the ground and one through the air. Bennett improved to 10-2 as a starter in his career at Georgia.
For the Midday Show with Andy and Randy, there's no 'if's, and's or butt's' on Bennett being the starter the rest of the way.
"J.T. (Daniels) didn't even get in the game, so that's that on that one," Andy Bunker said.
With that said, with Charleston Southern coming to Athens next week, expect to see a lot of Daniels in order to rest Bennett for the playoffs.
"Right now, I just don't think Stetson has done anything not to be able to allow him to be the starting quarterback," Randy McMichael added. "Do I think the offense would be a little more explosive as far as in the passing game with J.T.? I do. But at the same time, this is what Kirby wants to do and it's the winning formula right now. He has not had to win a football game because his team has not put him in a position to win a football game."
Georgia wrapped up their SEC schedule with a perfect 8-0 record and first 10-0 start since 1982.
