Georgia Wide Receiver Colbie Young, who had transferred into the program from Miami, was suspended for the final 9 games of the 2024 season is expected to be back according to Georgia Head Coach Kirby Smart.
"He is back, fully cleared. He's been through his process, and I think Colbie Young still has a chance to be a really good player for Georgia," says Brandon Adams of DawgNation. "From a football standpoint he picks up a chance to be a really valuable receiver. He and Noah Thomas are similar build, similar look, but these red zone weapons, big, tall receivers, Georgia could be really happy to have both of them."
Colbie Young, who is listed at 6'3 and 215 pounds, had 11 catches and 2 touchdowns in the five games he did play, and could factor in once again for a new starting QB looking for both a security blanket and am end-zone target.
