Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael were joined by NFL draft analyst from CBS Sports, Emory Hunt, who was asked which University of Georgia football player is rising up draft boards.
The national champion Georgia Bulldogs should have several players selected in the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft, including potential first-rounder’s Nakobe Dean, Devonte Wyatt, and Jordan Davis from their historic defensive unit.
“Which player from the Georgia National championship team is going to find his way sneaking up draft boards, a guy that is going to impress whether it’s down there this week (Senior Bowl) or when it comes to Pro Days and combines and stuff like that. A guy that may be viewed as a later-round draft pick that is going to find himself sneaking up draft boards?” Bunker asked.
“I think people will learn how good of a back Zamir White is," Hunt responded. "He to me he just screams Baltimore Ravens. When you watch him run the football, you watch him run and you are like man who pissed him off earlier today because he is running angry all the time. If you told me he was a boxer, I would agree with you because that’s just how physical he runs.”
How high up could White climb on draft weekend?
“They're (draft experts) talking about Brian Robinson of Alabama going in the third round or fourth round," Hunt said. "I think that may be someone like Zamir White because I feel like he is going to run faster than people think his speed is. He still has some of that explosiveness that we saw from him in high school and I think that is someone no one is talking about right now as a back that could go in the third round or fourth round and be a stud for someone in the NFL."
