Earlier today on The Morning Shift, Mike Johnson, Ali Mac, and Beau Morgan explained why they think Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets transfer quarterback Alberto Mendoza was better than expected, but the Yellow Jackets offense still stunk overall
“I thought he [Alberto Mendoza] was better than advertised. I liked his ability to move around, some the throws he made in the first half on the run, some of the ways in which he operated this offense, and at the same time this run game which we said yesterday is what the difference would be and what Georgia Tech hangs their hat on and what Brent Key is like it was abysmal, abysmal, like couldn’t find any room to do anything” Mike Johnson said
The way Georgia Tech played you could tell they had turnover at key positions and you could tell it was their first game of the season. Things don’t get any easier for the Yellow Jackets either as they take on No. 20 Tennessee next Saturday, so Brent Key and this Yellow Jackets team will need to clean things up fast before the welcome in the Volunteers next weekend.
