7A – Just like heading into last week’s rankings, only four teams of the top six were in action as Colquitt County, Milton, North Cobb and Roswell were all winners in their match ups. Both No. 1 Collins Hill and No. 2 Mill Creek were on a bye week so no changes in the 7A “Pick-6”

6A – The top half of the 6A “Pick-6” rankings saw no changes as No. 1 Buford, No. 2 Lee County and No. 3 Brunswick were all on a bye week last week. However, last week’s No. 6 River Ridge suffered their second consecutive loss, thus falling from the top six and Kennesaw Mountain, who was No. 4 last week, drops to No. 5 after being handed their first loss of the season when they fell to South Cobb. Moving up to No. 4 is Langston Hughes, who defeated North Atlanta last week and back in at No. 6 is Carrollton who is coming off of a win over Paulding County.

5A – Only three teams in 6A were in action last week, with two of them facing each other as Ware County defeated Coffee 35-3. With the win, Ware County jumps up to No. 2 and Coffee falls to No. 4. Cartersville defeated Hiram to improve to 5-0 and is now up to No. 3.
Both No. 5 Creekside and No. 6 Woodward Academy along with No. 1 Warner Robins were all on a bye week.

4A – The top five teams in the 4A “Pick-6” were all victorious last week, however only four of them actually won their games on the field. No. 1 Jefferson, No. 3 Benedictine, No. 4 Perry and No. 5 Marist all defeated their opponents last week in competition, but No. 2 Carver-Columbus got their victory via forfeit. No. 6 Stephenson, lost their first game of the season in a tough and close region match up to Miller Grove, however, the Jaguars remain at No. 6 this week.

3A – All but one of the top six teams in 6A were in action and it would be last week’s No. 2 Cedar Grove being the only team to suffer defeat as they fell to Lowndes 45-38. With the loss Cedar Grove drops to No. 3 and Appling County jumps up to No. 2. No. 1 Oconee County, No. 5 Monroe Area and No. 6 Thomson were all winners last week and No. 4 Sandy Creek was on a bye week.

2A – After last week saw no changes in 2A, this week Callaway suffered their second loss of the season falling 42-14 to Haralson, who was No. 6 last week. With the loss, Callaway drops out of the top six, while Haralson moves up to No. 4. No. 1 Rabun County, No. 2 Bleckley County and No. 5 Thomasville, were all winners and remain in their respective positions, while idle Fitzgerald moved up to No. 3. New to the 2A top six if Jeff Davis who comes in at No. 6 after they improved to 7-0 with their 26-7 win over Vidalia.

1A Public – Only one loser in the top six of 1A Public and that was Schley County who fell 54-38 to No. 1 Macon County, dropping them from No. 6. No. 3 Irwin County, No. 4 Bowdon and No. 5 Washington-Wilkes were all winners and keep their positions from last week. No.
2 Metter was on a bye and new to the top six is Chattahoochee County at No. 6.

1A Private – With No. 1 Trinity Chistian, No. 3 Fellowship Christian and No. 4 Prince Avenue all winners last week and No. 2 Calvary Day on a bye week, there were no changes in the top four positions of the 1A Private “Pick-6”. However, both Whitefield Academy and Tatnall Square suffered defeats last week and with the loss for Whitefield being their second of the season, they dropped out of the top six. Although the loss for Tattnall Square was their first of the season, they fall also fall out of the top six, while Holy Innocents comes in at No. 5 and Darlington at No. 6.
