Sunday's NCAA tournament selection show was another chance for the Kennesaw State Owls to celebrate a successful 2022-23 season, as they are headed to Greensboro, NC in a 3/14 matchup vs the Xavier Musketeers.

It's been 11 days since the Owls captured the ASUN tournament championship and an automatic bid. And according to Head Coach Amir Abdur-Rahim, the team is gotten back to normalcy after the blur of last week. "It started out a little bit as a blur, but Tuesday we got back into our routine", Coach Abdur-Rahim told Steak and Sandra on this morning's Steakhouse.

It was during the selection show where the Owls found out they would be traveling to Greensboro to face an at-large Xavier team. Kennesaw State is listed as an underdog in the opening round, and Coach Abdur-Rahim talked about how tough of a matchup Xavier is. "The thing I know about Xavier is that they've got a big time fan base that travels. So, it'll essentially be a road game for us again."

The Owls understand how tough it will be to overcome a tough team and traveling fan base, but Coach Abdur-Rahim talked about how these circumstances aren't anything that they haven't faced before. "I say this humbly; we're right at home on the road. Those environments don't intimidate us at all."

Kennesaw State will leave for Greensboro Wednesday afternoon. You can hear the entire interview from this morning's Steakhouse and Coach Abdur-Rahim below.
