We’ve arrived at the season’s one-quarter mark (except for Pittsburgh and Tennessee, who were treated to an impromptu bye in Week 4) and boy do we have the scars to prove it. You ever wolf down five slices of pizza RIGHT before bed (anyone who’s been to college can relate) and proceed to have a dream so bonkers that even Dr. Seuss would be like “No way, man”? That was Week 4 in a nutshell.
Imagine owning BOTH Cam Newton, who spent his Monday evening watching in abject horror while Brian Hoyer set the sport back decades, and Calvin Ridley, who bageled on five targets in a loss to Green Bay. Well I don’t have to because I lived that Hell firsthand in Week 4. Sure, they were on separate fantasy teams, but that doesn’t make my experience any less painful.
Come lick your wounds with us as Stephen Andress, Jordan Cohn and I ask the important questions, like can the Cowboys’ offense support four pass-catchers? or is Robby Anderson (not D.J. Moore) suddenly the Panthers’ WR1? And is it finally time to give up the ghost and accept that Kenyan Drake may not be the Cardinals’ answer at running back? We delve into these subjects and plenty of other food-for-thought debates on the latest episode of the RADIO.COM Fantasy Football Show. Enjoy!
