Newton Rams running back, Rontravious Perry is our High School Scoreboard Show Player of the Week thanks to his 177 rushing yards and three touchdown performance in the Rams’ 39-21 win over the McEachern Indians. Perry credited the Newton offensive line for allowing him to have the success he did in Friday’s game saying, “I just have to thank my linemen. They opened it up for me and I just hit.” Perry said, last year’s 8-7 loss to the Indians was also inspiration for him heading into Friday’s game.
