“When I look at this team, I don’t think that Desmond Ridder has to do a whole lot,” is how the conversation began on Wednesday as 92-9 The Game’s Jon Chuckery discussed what could potentially be the Falcons “biggest downfall”.
As the evening host opened up the phone lines to allow listeners to share their thoughts, he continued, “I think that if they don’t get some of their skill position people to don’t come along and we’re not great in the red zone, I think things are not going to come along for this team,” Chuckery adds.
Chcukcery would go on to elaborate on his thoughts, point to the fact that despite all of the Falcons off-season moves to bolster the defense, he does not believe that they have done enough to increase their sack total. “I still don’t believe that they’re a 40 sack team until I actually see it in front of me,” Chuckery said adding that “they have to have their skill position people be dominant,” Chuckery said.
