Urban Meyer met on field with Mike Vrabel before the Jacksonville Jaguars-Tennessee Titans Week 14 matchup Sunday. However, after a 20-0 loss at the hands of his former pupil's team, Meyer wasn't very conversational:
As noted in the tweet, Vrabel was Meyer's defensive line coach in 2012 and 2013 at Ohio State. Vrabel then served on spent four years on Bill O'Brien's staff with the Houston Texans before becoming the head coach of the Titans in 2018.
This may be a case of bad optics more than anything. The two spoke before the game, and there was no evidence that Vrabel took exception to Meyer not being in a talkative mood after the game. This wasn't a Jim Harbaugh-Jim Schwartz situation.

But there's something to be said for perception being reality. Meyer looked like a defeated man after his team was shutout. Most head coaches wouldn't be pleased, but there's something to be said for putting on a brave face in front of the cameras.
Instead, Meyer looked all the part of a college head coach who is playing out a disastrous NFL stint, one that may very well last only one year.
Once Meyer exited the field, he proceeded to publicly threaten to fire anyone who leaked information to NFL Media's Tom Pelissero, who published an explosive story Saturday about the toxic culture currently in Jacksonville.
