As the Atlanta Falcons get set to open training camp this week, the addition of veteran quarterback, Kirk Cousins, has led some to believe that the Falcons may have positioned themselves to be one of the league’s most productive offenses this season. Well if you ask just how good Cousins and crew are expected to be this season and you are the betting type, according VSiN, a wager on the Falcons to be the number one seed out of the NFC, could be a bet you may want to make.

On Monday, Steak Shapiro and Drew Butler shared their thoughts and reacted to the sports betting site’s wager in which they have the Falcons at +750 odds to be the number one seed in the NFC as one of the wagers they like, favoring them in 14 out of their 17 games. As Shapiro and Butler discussed the VSiN odds on the Falcons, Steak noted that Atlanta is considered to have one of the easier schedules by some sports media sources and with the addition of Cousins, understands why VSiN would highlight the wager on the Falcons.

“You’re playing literally rookie quarterbacks or bottom 25 and under ranking quarterbacks. The schedule has laid out for you, the draft in the last four years from the offensive side of the ball is just laid out for you. The biggest issue will be outscoring your opponent,” Shapiro said as he shared that “it’s going to be fascinating to see what Kirk Cousins can do,” with a heavily favored talented offensive roster.
