Anaheim Police search for information surrounding death of homeless man

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KNX) — Anaheim Police are asking the public's help in finding out the details surrounding the death of Gilbert Daisaku Johnson.

A passerby noticed the 32-year-old lying on the ground around 3:45 a.m. Monday, suffering from severe head injuries in the 100 block of West Broadway. The area is right by River Arena Church.

Johnson, who previously lived in Costa Mesa, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he remained until he died of his injuries Thursday.

At this time, detectives are not calling his death a homicide, but are asking the public's help in learning more about what may have happened.
