There's a new California Governor candidate on the scene.
He's another candidate eager to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom in the upcoming recall election.
Steve Lodge joins Caitlyn Jenner, former Olympic gold medalist and reality TV star, in the race. Jenner was on KNX In-Depth to talk about how she is the new face of the Republican Party. Jenner and Lodge join other candidates including former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer and John Cox.
Steve Lodge is the fiance of former Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson and he made the announcement on Instagram Tuesday.
"I cannot stand idly by while we allow government to destroy this beautiful state. We, the people, need to turn this around and take our state back," he says.
Lodge describes himself as a conservative and says he will lay out his plans in the coming days.
