
Authorities Wednesday identified a woman who was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the East Los Angeles area.
The woman died near the site of her injury, which was reported shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday near Atlantic and Olympic boulevards, according to the California Highway Patrol.
On Wednesday, she was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Jazmin Castillo, 42, of Snowmass Village, Colorado.

According to reports from the scene, CHP officers found the suspect's red Toyota Celica in a parking lot at the Commerce Casino, and arrested the suspect, whose name was not immediately released.
