Fire crews battle fire at Los Alamitos commercial building

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. (KNX) – Fire crews worked to extinguish a third-alarm at a Los Alamitos commercial building Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

Capt. Sean Doran of the Orange County Fire Authority confirmed the fire started just after 5:30 a.m. in the 10800 block of Kyle Street.

Around 38 units were sent to fight the fire. Doran added that personnel the Long Beach Fire Department also helped out.

The single-story building has an e-commerce storage and shipping business inside it, according to City News Service.

A spokesperson for the Orange County Fire Authority told KABC that one issue for firefighters was the hazardous materials and electrical wires.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
