Live from Los Angeles, it’s Al Franken!

The former Minnesota Senator will be heading back to network television when he hosts “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Tuesday night.

The show often runs through various guest hosts throughout the summer while Kimmel takes time away from the late-night game, and Franken will be the next to step in after guest hosts Desus Nice and David Alan Grier.

“Realized I should probably have written some stuff for Tuesday night when I host [Jimmy Kimmel Live!],” Franken wrote on Twitter. “Very very nervous!”

Taking the seat behind the desk, Franken will get to speak with “Better Call Saul” actor Bob Odenkirk, whose “Breaking Bad” prequel came to a climactic end on Monday night. The show will also feature musical guest Los Lobos.

After hosting, Franken, the 71-year-old former SNL star, will return to his roots, performing standup for four nights at the Acme Comedy Club in Minneapolis.

Franken had stepped away from his Senate seat in 2017 after a wave of sexual harassment allegations during the height of the “Me Too” movement. Since his resignation, he has said he regrets the decision to step down.
