L.A. authorities seek help locating murder suspect

Authorities sought the public's assistance Thursday in locating the assailant who fatally shot a 32-year-old man in Duarte.

Homicide investigators were sent to 1018 Kellwil Way on Oct. 16 around 1:40 a.m. regarding an unresponsive person in a driveway, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

According to the Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner, Fidel Padilla was pronounced dead at the scene after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators released a surveillance photo of a vehicle believed to be connected to the crime in hopes of generating tips from the public.
