LAPD investigators are looking for more possible victims of the suspect accused of randomly killing a 102-year-old Encino man—the oldest murder victim in the city’s history.

Adam Dimmerman, 47, of Santa Barbara, is accused of killing the oldest murder victim in LAPD’s history with an ax and knife in the man’s Encino home on March 18, and then attacking a drywall worker on another street all while Dimmerman had his dog on a leash.

Det. Steve Castro tells KNX 1070 News Dimmerman parked on Zelzah and walked several blocks with his dog and the weapons before the random attacks.

"We have footage of the second assault and it seems like the dog was actually trying to get him away from the victim," he says. "We just wanted to put his picture out there to see if there just happens to be another victim out there. And Santa Barbara also asked us to do that favor for them as well."

Dimmerman is in jail with bail set at $2 million.

Anyone who had an odd interaction with Dimmerman is asked to call LAPD’s Valley homicide unit.

Detectives are seeking additional victims of Adam Dimmerman. If you believe you were a victim, or have any information, please call Detective Steve Castro, Valley Bureau Homicide, at (818) 374-1925.
