You too can own some of the jewelry worn by Hollywood legends such as Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor, courtesy of Julien’s Auctions.
On Tuesday, the auction house went live with items from Joseff of Hollywood.
“Eugene Joseff was a jewelry maker who came to Hollywood in the ‘30s and established a company where he made replica historical jewelry for all the major studios,” Catherine Williamson, managing director of Hollywood Memorabilia at Julien's Auctions, told KNX News’ Emily Valdez. “So, he would make it, rent it to the studios for productions, take it back, rent it again.”
Several items up for auction were worn by Hedy Lamarr, Marilyn Monroe, Bette Davis, Katharine Hepburn, and Rita Hayworth.
Williamson said if you miss this one, more auctions are coming up.
