A counselor who worked at an after-school program in Santa Clarita is accused of molesting one of the kids.
Los Angeles County sheriffs' investigators said 32-year-old Elizabeth Elizarraraz was arrested on six felony counts of suspicion of lewd acts on a minor.
“Detectives from the Special Victims Bureau received a report out of Santa Clarita that involved the minor and the suspect possibly having an inappropriate relationship,” Sgt. Joseph Mesa told KNX News’ Emily Valdez.
Investigators said Elizarraraz worked at an after-school program run by the Boys and Girls Club in Santa Clarita for about two years.
“She met the victim approximately two years ago, and two incidents occurred between that time,” Sgt. Mesa said.
He said there are concerns that there are other victims who haven’t come forward. Anyone with information on any possible victims should call the L.A. County Sheriff's Department Special Victims Bureau.
