Universal Studios to begin themed Fan Fest Nights

Universal Studios Hollywood announced Friday it will begin a series of after-hours fan fest nights next year dedicated to various television shows, films, games and entertainment genres.

Developed by creators of the park's annual Halloween Horror Nights, the Universal Fan Fest Nights will be limited-time, separately ticketed, after- hours events immersing visitors into the various entertainment worlds.

The initial Fan Fest Nights will be in spring 2025, with experiences based on the "Star Trek" TV and film franchise, "Back to the Future" and the gaming world of "Dungeons & Dragons."

"For decades, Universal Studios Hollywood has been a leader in creating and executing innovative special events that are consistent with our brand," Scott Strobl, executive vice president and general manager of Universal Studios Hollywood, said in a statement. "From our esteemed Halloween Horror Nights event to this all-new Universal Fan Fest Nights experience, we are thrilled about how this breakthrough program will continue to elevate the guest experience in an all-new way."

According to the park, the "immersive in-world experiences" will be supported in the theme park itself with live entertainment and cosplay, themed foods and various types of specialized merchandise.
