1. Walmart is raising their minimum wage to $14 an hour. That's up from $12 an hour. Workers with preferred experience could start at $32 per hour.
2. An $8,000 copper bear statue was recently stolen from the campus of the University of Maine. The police are offering a $500 reward for the return of the bear. Police are looking at surveillance video for leads. The bear may have been stolen as part of a frat prank.
3. Spring Breakers may want to reconsider vacationing in Cancun this year because the U.S. State Department has issued a travel warning for the city. Taxi drivers have been attacking Uber drivers because they are taking business from them. Some taxi drivers are blocking main roads to hotels, leaving Uber passengers to walk to their accommodations. Some U.S. citizens have been injured during clashes between the drivers.
