1. A Picayune, Louisiana man was recently arrested for hiding a gun in a Taco Bell quesadilla. Officers stopped Olivia Neff for a traffic violation. They saw her passenger, Devin Mitchell, stuffing a gun into the quesadilla. Mitchell was arrested for possession of a firearm, tampering with evidence and possession of a firearm by a felon. Neff was arrested for disregarding a traffic device.
2. Taxes are due today! Just a heads up!
3. The IRS says this year's average tax refund is 11% smaller than last year. The IRS has issued 53 million refunds so far this year worth $158.1 billion. The average refund check this year is $2,933 compared to $3,305 last year.
4. David's Bridal has filed for bankruptcy for the second time in five years. David's is America's largest wedding dress retailer. The company plans to balance their financial sheets by firing 9,000 employees in the coming months. 25% of women wear a David's bridal gown on their wedding day.
