The announcement was made at the company's Upfront presentation, at which advertisers are given a preview of upcoming programming.

"Bupkis" -- which means something that has no worth in Yiddish -- was picked up last month by the streaming service. There is no premiere date yet.

The show will combine "grounded storytelling with absurd elements from the worldview for which Davidson is well known," according to Peacock, Variety reported. Davidson also serves as co-writer and executive producer of the show.

It also pairs two native New Yorkers -- Brooklyn-born Falco, known for playing Carmela Soprano on "The Sopranos" and Staten Island-born Davidson, who starred in the 2020 film "The King of Staten Island." That film was also loosely based on his life. In that film, Maisa Tomei played his mother.
