We're back with another installment of 7 Rock songs you need to hear right now and August's picks are songs you're going to want to listen to loud.
From veteran rockers, to bands we haven't heard from in some time, and newcomers that have burst onto the scene, here are 7 Rock songs that need to be added to your playlist right now.
Ayron Jones - Supercharged
This "Supercharged" track is how you start off the playlist. Jones turns it up to maximum overdrive with this headbanger that you can't help but nod your head to. The track comes off of Jones' recently released studio album Child Of The State.
Seether - Wasteland
Seether created the perfect visual accompaniment to the song as it features a guy skateboarding through an apocalyptic wasteland. Oh yeah, it's a kick ass song too. The song comes off Seether's 2020 record Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum.
Jerry Cantrell – Atone
The Alice in Chains guitarist is back with his first solo album since 2002 as he's set to release Brighten this October. "Atone" marks the first single off the record and it proves to be worth the wait. Cantrell's trademark grunge sound is wonderfully mixed with elements of twang, psychedelia, and hard rock.
Dorothy – What's Coming to Me
Dorothy made her return with the powerful track "What's Coming to Me." The video is a spiritual journey that includes a full blown exorcism. The song is expected to appear on Dorothy's upcoming studio record Gifts From The Holy Ghost.
Iron Maiden - The Writing on the Wall
The veteran artists return with a reminder of everything that's great about heavy metal. "The Writing on the Wall" is a single from Iron Maiden's upcoming seventeenth studio album Senjutsu, which is scheduled to be released on September 3.
Black Veil Brides - Scarlet Cross
Black Veil Brides return with the anthemic new track "Scarlet Cross," which is the first single off the band's upcoming sixth studio album The Phantom Tomorrow. Like their previous releases, The Phantom Tomorrow is a concept album.
Nonpoint – Ruthless
It's been nearly three years since Nonpoint released new music, but that's about to change. "Ruthless" sees the rockers make their glorious return as the track comes off the band's upcoming EP.
