(93.7 The Fan) - Former Steelers cornerback Ryan Clark has taken a jab at quarterback Ben Roethlisberger while talking about the possibility of Colin Kapernick returning to the NFL.
Friday morning on the “Get Up” on ESPN, the panel was discussing if Kapernick could pass a conditioning run after not being in the league for a number of years.
Clark said in response, “Listen, I watched Ben Roethlisberger pass conditioning tests, for eight years straight, Colin Kapernick is going to be okay.”
Kapernick is also going to have to realize, in Clark’s eyes, that Kapernick is going to have to be okay with being a backup quarterback.
“I think Colin Kapernick is going to have to understand people aren’t brining him in to be the starter, I think he believes that, he understands that, he knows that,” said Clark.
