Brian Dumoulin will be a game-time decision when the Penguins take on the Islanders on Long Island Wednesday evening.
If he does play that will leave an odd-man out and according to Fan Penguins Insider Jason Mackey with the Post-Gazette it could be a surprise.
Mackey says “it sounds like Jack Johnson will be the odd-man out on defense.”
Whether Brian Dumoulin plays tonight is still somewhat up in the air. Will depend on how he feels. If he does play, it sounds like Jack Johnson will be the odd-man out on defense. A little surprised by that.

April 10, 2019 The move would be a surprise since Johnson played in every game for the Penguins this season since coming over from Columbus in the offseason.
Many believe the man out would be Olli Maatta who recently returned from injury.
Round one of the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs begin for the Penguins at 7:30 Wednesday evening.
