(93.7 The Fan) Mike Tomlin has made a new statement regarding Cleveland Browns player Myles Garrett.
Garrett was indefinitely suspended by the NFL for striking Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph in the head with his own helmet.
After being reinstated by the league, the Browns' defensive end once again claimed that Rudolph made racial slurs towards Garrett.
Coach Tomlin, and many others, believe that there was no such incident.
Tomlin said in his statement that he had many interactions with the Browns and not once was a racial slur mentioned.

— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) February 15, 2020The Browns were upset with their player and his actions.
Garrett would go on to say that quarterbacks wear microphones in their helmets and believes the slur could have been picked up by the helmet mic.
NFL quarterbacks do not have microphones in their helmets.
They have a headset to hear play calls from coaches, but no microphone.
In @OTLonESPN interview, Myles Garrett says QBs have mics in their helmets but Mason Rudolph didn't because he lost his helmet. Not sure what he's referring to there. QBs have speakers, not mics. Entire answer was vague, referring to some audio that "could've heard something."
— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) February 15, 2020There is still no valid evidence to support Garrett in his claim.
Rudolph himself responded on Twitter with a tweet denying every claim that Garrett has been making.
1000% False.Bold-Faced Lie.I did not, have not, and would not utter a racial-slur.This is a disgusting and reckless attempt to assassinate my character. https://t.co/mZcEcC0tCl
