PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-signed forward Teddy Blueger to a new two-year contract.
General Manager Jim Rutherford made the announcement Tuesday morning.
The deal will run through the 2020-21 season and he'll make around $750,000 a season.
The 24-year-old center, who is native of Latvia, had 6 goals and 4 points in 28 games with the Pens last season.
Blueger made his NHL debut on January 30, 2019 and score his first goal on his first career shot the next game.
