The Bucs will receive a player to be named later and and additional $250,000 in this year's International Signing Period.
The 30-year-old Dickerson played in 43 games for the Pirates this season batting .317 with 4 home runs.
The Pirates acquired Dickerson in February 2018 from Tampa for relief pitcher Daniel Hudson, minor league infidlers Tristand Gray and cash.
