PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Pittsburgh Penguins announced on Friday that the team will be having an intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday, July 18, and there will be a livestream for fans to watch.
The scrimmage will begin at 10:45 a.m. at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex.
While the event is closed publicly, the scrimmage will be available to watch digitally on four different platforms.
Fans will be able to watch on the Penguins app, the Penguins Facebook page and YouTube channel, and pittsburghpenguins.com.
Josh Getzoff and Phil Borque will be the commentators.
The scrimmage will consist of two 25-minute periods with a break between them.
There will also be "special teams situations."
It's the Penguins first scrimmage since their Phase 3 training camp started earlier in the week.
