PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) - The Pittsburgh Pirates announced Monday that they have acquired right hand pitcher Yefry Ramirez from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for a player to be named or cash considerations.
The Pirates have acquired RHP Yefry Ramirez from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for a player to be named. To make room on the 40-man roster, RHP Jesus Liranzo has been designated for assignment. Ramirez will be assigned to Triple-A Indianapolis.

The 25-year-old made his MLB debut with the Orioles last season, appearing in 17 games.So far this season, Yefry (pronounced Jeffrey) was 0-2 with a 6.97 ERA through 10. 1 innings, with 11 strike outs.
