Former Steelers coach Mike Tomlin will be back on your television this fall.
According to Andrew Marchand of The Athletic, Tomlin is joining NBC’s Football Night in America show, serving as a “top studio analyst.”
The move comes after NBC let Tomlin’s mentor Tony Dungy go after this past season.
It has been reported for years that Tomlin would be able to find a job in TV after coaching, but it was believed that he would take some extended time off after leaving the Steelers abruptly after this season.
Becoming a football analyst on TV has become a big-money job for former players and coaches, especially over the past several years.
Tom Brady is making $375 million with his FOX contract over the next 10 years.
It is believed Tomlin will join NBC’s coverage this fall.
