Ready To Go! Crosby Confirms He Is Returning Tuesday

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - Sidney Crosby will make his return to the ice Tuesday night at PPG Paints Arena.

The Penguins captain took the ice with the rest of his teammates Tuesday morning and the team re-assigned Joseph Blandisi back to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, making room for Crosby on the roster. 

The 25-year-old Blandisi has played in 21 games for Pittsburgh scoring two goals and three assists for five points.

Crosby, will play his first game since November 9, when he had surgery to repair a sports hernia.

In 17 games this season, Crosby has five goals and 12 assists.

The Penguins host the Minnesota Wild Tuesday night at PPG Paints Arena.

It's a Pittsburgh-themed night at the arena.
