
PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - According to a report, Penguins Captain Sidney Crosby may have surgery for an injury he suffered on Saturday.
The Athletic’s Rob Rossi reports that Crosby aggravated a sports hernia that he has been dealing with since training camp.
He adds Crosby opted not to have the surgery earlier because the team was dealing with a number of injuries at the time.
It was previously reported that Crosby was dealing with a core injury.
