Report: Washington Wants To Acquire Coach Tomlin

(93.7 The Fan) - According to reports, the Washington Redskins are interested in acquiring Steelers coach Mike Tomlin after they fired their head coach Jay Gruden Sunday.

According to CBS’ Jason La Canfora, Washington is trying to “find a way to acquire Mike Tomlin from the Steelers.”

I firmly believe that Dan Snyder's primary objective in his next coaching hire will be to find a way to acquire Mike Tomlin from the Steelers. We'll see how feasible that may be

Ed Werder of ESPN reports Washington owner Dan Snyder also has Tampa’s defensive coordinator Todd Bowles and Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy on his short list.

Tomlin is under contract to the Steelers through the 2021. With an option for 2022
