Marc-Andre Fleury may not be in Pittsburgh very often but his heart is clearly still here.
Morning show co-host Colin Dunlap’s daughter Darran recently completed a long chemotherapy treatment after being diagnosed with Leukemia back in 2016.
The former Penguin and current Vegas Golden Knight’s goaltender sent young Darran a jersey to help celebrate the completion of her treatment.
Dunlap said in a post on social media:
"It probably doesn’t get any classier than Marc-Andre Fleury. Really remarkable gesture for a couple ex-Pittsburghers now in Vegas, him and Kevin Iole, coming together and sending Darran a signed Flower sweater to mark the end of her cancer treatment. People are amazing."
