he Assisted Goals Foundation is opening the doors to its new used hockey equipment storefront in Ambridge!
Join Assisted Goals Foundation for the Grand Opening on Saturday, October 17 from 10 AM to 2 PM and Sunday, October 18 from Noon to 3 PM. The new storefront will give hockey players and families access to used equipment at deeply discounted prices while supporting the Assisted Goals Foundation’s mission to help keep kids in the game.
Equipment will be available in sizes ranging from youth through adult and will include skates, shin guards, elbow pads, hockey pants, shoulder pads, gloves, jerseys, socks, sticks, equipment bags, select goalie equipment and other hockey-related items.
Sample pricing includes skates for $25, hockey pants for $20, shin guards and shoulder pads for $15, gloves for $10, sticks for $5 and apparel at two items for $5.
Donations of new and gently used hockey equipment will also be accepted during store hours.
Every purchase makes a difference. Proceeds from storefront sales will help fund Assisted Goals Foundation scholarships, which are awarded annually to players and families who need financial assistance to continue participating in hockey.
Assisted Goals Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping remove financial barriers that can prevent players from continuing to participate in hockey. Through scholarships, equipment initiatives, fundraising and community partnerships, the organization works to help players and families manage the costs of the sport and keep kids in the game.
