Pirates/Reds Suspensions Issued

(93.7 The Fan) - Major League Baseball has announced who has been disciplined following Tuesday night’s brawl between the Pirates and Reds in Cincinnati.
Pitcher Keona Kela gets a 10-game suspension for throwing a pitch toward Reds batter Derek Dietrich’s head and for his role in “instigating the bench-clearing incident.”
Pitcher Kyle Crick gets a three-game suspension for “inappropriate actions” during the ninth inning brawl.
Infielder Jose Osuna has received five-games for his “aggressive and inappropriate actions” during the fight.
Bucs manager Clint Hurdle gets two games for “his club’s conduct during the incident and his club’s multiple intentional pitches thrown at Dietrich this season.
Pitcher Amir Garrett receives an eight-game suspension for starting the bench-clearing brawl when he ran toward the Pirates dugout and started throwing punches.
Pitcher Jared Hughes gets three games for intentionally throwing a pitch at Pirates outfielder Starling Marte in the top of the ninth inning.
Cleveland Indians outfielder Yasiel Puig, who was a member of the Reds but technically got in the fight after being traded, gets three games for “aggressive actions” during the brawl
Reds manager David Bell gets six-games for coming back to the field of play after he was already ejected from the game, “aggressive actions” that escalated the incident, the intentional pitch thrown at Marte and “his numerous ejections this season.”
