Yankees’ Jameson Taillon, not Gerrit Cole, gets starting nod against Pirates Saturday

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) — It appears that instead of the Yankees’ Gerrit Cole getting the nod for Saturday’s spring game against the Pirates, it’ll be Jameson Taillon instead.

Jason Mackey of the Post-Gazette revealed the information Friday night.

If you recall, Taillon, the former Pirate, was shipped off to the Yankees earlier this year.

The spring game between the Yankees and Pirates will be played at LECOM Park at 1:05 p.m. Saturday, March 6.
