PITTSBURGH (93.7 The FAN) - Bob Errey joined The PM Team the same day that Penguins General Manager met with the media to discuss the end of their season and Bob shared with the guys some thoughts he has on how the Pens should proceed forward.
Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang are usually the first names that come up when it comes to the Pens future and whether or not they should continue to build around the trio.
Bob knows what he would do with that group.
"I think you want to move one of them at some time. Do they all have to retire as Penguins? He's getting older. And he's getting slower. Are you not allowed to say that? Is it a swear word to say it? You might have to move Malkin."
Another name that's getting tossed around is Jake Guentzel as it's believed the Pens may want to get bigger and tougher next year. Bob wouldn't be so quick to move one of the Pens top goal scorers.
"You better be careful before you do that. You better make sure you're getting somebody that is going to come in and score 40 goals and there's not many guys like that."
